On Saturday January 28th the Green Sprouts Eco Club was out bright and early on the island of Virgin Gorda to take on the club’s first activity for the year – a beautification session focused on the planters located along the wall of the recreation ground.
284 media caught up with Deputy Programme Director for Green Sprouts Eco Club Mr Jahnai Caul on site that day.
Also, on site at the activity was At Large Representative Honourable Shereen Flax Charles, who shared some insight into what the volunteers hoped to achieve through this initiative.
Charles further explained that moving forward, she hopes to roll out a maintenance plan in collaboration with the Green Sprouts Eco Club granting them responsibility for the upkeep of such areas after beautification is complete.
As the Green Sprouts continue in their good work across Virgin Gorda they are urging members of the public to join them in that pursuit.
