Minister for Social Development Hon. Marlon Penn believes that the prevailing situation in the Territory as it relates to crime requires a serious attempt to curb the issue, particularly gun crime, in the community.
He believes a key aspect of making the needed impact is for the public to support the efforts of law enforcement.
Penn says that he is also trying to do his part as a leader in the community.
He stressed that addressing the crime situation long term will require a multifaceted approach which helps young people understand the values of making an honest living.
