Former government consultant Claude Skelton Cline has brought God at his defence to the recent alarming findings of the Auditor General’s Special Report on the contracts that was awarded to him during the Andrew Fahie led Virgin Islands Party government.
Cline’s comment came during his Honestly Speaking radio programme on Wednesday, which was also streamed on social media.
Cline acknowledged the comments made by members of the House of Assembly during the debate stage of the Auditor General’s Report on Tuesday.
He said there is so much more at stake.
Cline also informed the public that he stopped reading local news since 2012 and that he was informed about the circulating articles on his report from close family and friends.
He said he will not indulge in further adding to the narrative.
