The British Virgin Islands Women’s Softball team has now made it 2 in 2 after defeating St.Maarten in the 2023 Eastern Caribbean Amateur Softball Confederation Championship in St John USVI.
Coming off the heels of an impressive victory against Jamaica on Wednesday, the BVI women delivered another sensational performance this afternoon, winning via mercy rule in the fourth inning 11 runs to St. Maarten’s 1.
Javlyn Frett was voted player of the match for her precise pitching and for staying in the game despite suffering an injury to her leg.
The BVI team will now have their attention focused on their double header games on Friday against Aruba at 2pm and host USVI at 5pm.
