Every year the BVI Financial Services Commission (“the Commission”) makes a concerted effort to operate in ways that enhance society and the environment and takes part in philanthropic causes.
As part of the Commission’s corporate social responsibilities efforts, we celebrated and honoured the women in charge of shaping the future. Teachers, Specialist teachers, and custodial workers of the Enid Scatliffe Pre-Primary and the Alexandrina Maduro Primary School received the signature yellow rose in appreciation for their service.
This year’s International Women’s Day and global theme, DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality and #EmbraceEquity, speaks to drive transformative change in stereotypes and discrimination against women. To all women, we say a huge thank you and keep going!
