Local sprint sensation Adaejah Hodge did the unthinkable by breaking the U.S high school national 200-meter record two times within 24 hours to be crowned the New Balance Nationals Indoor champion in that respective event.
Competing in the final on Sunday, Hodge who is only 16-years-old stormed to victory in a record breaking time of 22.33 seconds to break her previously set record of 22.77 which was set the previous day.
In addition to setting a new record, Hodge who attends Montverde Academy as a junior, also set a new standard in the World Under 18 and Under 20 women’s 200-meter event.
