Seventh District independent candidate Perline Scatliffe-Leonard says her performance locally, regionally and internationally while representing the territory in a professional capacity speaks volume on her ability to represent the people of the territory as a politician.
Scatliffe-Leonard’s statement follows recent criticism from some residents who she said questioned her ability to run as a politician in the territory.
The former Director of the Water and Sewage Department who was speaking at a public meeting at the Stickett in East End, encouraged the residents of the Seventh District to vote for her in the upcoming election, as she promised to improve the district.
Meanwhile, former Deputy Premier Dr. Kedrick Pickering who is also a former District Seven Representative, publicly endorsed Scatliffe-Leonard.
He spoke to her character stating that she is genuine and committed to serving the people of their district.
