A 25-member men’s national training squad was announced this morning for the upcoming CONCACAF Nations League match against Puerto Rico on Thursday, March 23.
President of the BVI Football Association Mr. Andy Bickerton announced the team during a press conference on Monday, stating that a solid eleven players will be selected from the pool of players to face Puerto Rico.
National Coach Chris Kiwomya spoke on the youthfulness of the squad and the promising qualities that have been noticed from some of the players.
Meanwhile, Captain Troy Caesar said he is confident that his side will bounce back from the 6-0 loss against Puerto Rico last year.
He also encouraged residents to come out on Thursday to support the local men.
That game will commence at the A. O. Shirley Grounds at 3:00 p.m.
