The Maples Group continues to support the Elmore Stoutt High School Music Programme by making meaningful donations to ensure student’s access to the necessary tools and instruments they need to participate.
This year, as a part of Education Week activities Maples BVI, through the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA), made a donation of various instruments.
The donation was welcomed by Director of Procurement for the RDA Mr John Primo, who lauded the Maples Group for its commitment to supporting music education in the Territory.
Minister for Education Hon Sharie De Castro offered heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Education Sector. She noted that such partnerships with the private sector are imperative to ensuring that schools have all the tools needed to recognize the mandate of reimagining education in the Virgin Islands.
Managing Partner for Maples and Calder BVI Mr Richard May said he was encouraged by the Minister’s statement. He noted that it was his team’s goal to make the biggest impact as possible despite being a small donor.
The instruments donated are expected to increase the quality output of the ESHS music programme.
