PU & PVIM FORM AN ALLIANCE – FRASER SAYS VIP IS THE ONLY ENEMY IN THIS ELECTION

The progressive parties in the Virgin Islands have formed an alliance and the Chairman of Progressives United Hon. Julian Fraser said he is confident that a coalition government will exist in the next House of Assembly.

Fraser, who will be contesting to be reelected within the Third District made the statement at the official launch of his party’s campaign on Saturday, stating that the only enemy that exists during this upcoming general election is the Virgin Islands Party.

Fraser, who is a former VIP member, made it clear that while he will be forming an alliance with the Progressive Virgin Islands Movement party, it is being done with him still as the Progressives United party chairman.

Meanwhile, Chairman of PVIM Ronnie Skelton accepted the endorsement from Fraser stating that Fraser has his full support during the election season.

Skelton spoke on the importance of togetherness and said victory in the upcoming election for the progressive parties would pave the way to have several of the existing issues in the territory resolved.
