SHAKOY M. DAVID RECOGNIZED BY DEPUTY GOVERNOR

Every Thursday, the Deputy Governor of the Virgin Islands Mr. David D Archer Jr recognises and commends persons in the community to express gratitude for their significant contributions to the Territory of the Virgin Islands.

The most recent selection was Mr. Shakoy M. David.

Archer said, “This week, I recognised Mr. Shakhoy David. Mr. David is a proud member and junior mentor of M.A.L.E (Mentoring Anointed Leaders Everywhere), This young man has disciplined himself in making community service a vital aspect of his life; be it through farm work in Baugher’s Bay, packing clothes for The BVI Red Cross Thrift Shop, beach clean-ups at Josiah’s Bay, or prepping bottles for recycling at Green VI, Shakhoy has made his hands available.”

He concluded, “Join me in applauding Mr. David for his selfless service to our community. If your paths cross, please encourage this young man in his aspirations of becoming a notable architect and animator in the BVI, with the hopes that some of his projects may even continue to address some of the social topics and challenges within our communities.”
