The alleged shooter at the centre of the recent murder of Kemo Lettsome reportedly fired several shots while traveling in a motor vehicle.
This is according to information presented by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a media statement on Tuesday, which confirmed that 37-year-old Lettsome was the victim of Sunday night’s fatal shooting which occurred near the Stickett in Long Long.
“Initial inquiries indicate that the shooter drove by the residence in a vehicle around 6:30pm, discharged several bullets and left in the same vehicle. Much more information is needed to help with investigations into this incident,” the RVIPF stated.
Lettsome was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene.
Premier of the Virgin Islands Dr. the Hon. Natalio Wheatley and Governor His Excellency John Rankin both pledged their support to the RVIPF in bringing to account those responsible for the recent murders and other acts of gun violence.
The police are asking for witnesses of this most recent shooting or persons with information about the perpetrator(s) of the murder of Lettsome to contact the Major Incident Team at 368-9410.
