The Ministry of Education recently completed both the Primary and Secondary levels of the 2023 National Spelling Bee with the following students announced as champions for this year.
At the Secondary School Level, the finals competition was held on May 31st and the results were as follows:
3rd place – Lennox Clancy – Ciboney Centre for Excellence
2nd place – Tristan Arthur – St. George’s Secondary School
1st place – Arkaydee Parillon – Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies
The Primary School Spelling Bee concluded on Wednesday, June 7 with the following students emerging victorious:
3rd place – Amrita Singh – Enis Adams Primary School
2nd place – Orissa Thomas – St. George’s Primary School
1st Place – Sean Ramotar- Robinson O’Neal Memorial Primary School
