SPRINGETTE CHARGED WITH WOUNDING FOLLOWING SHOOTING IN SEA COW’S BAY

37-year-old Sea Cow’s Bay resident Walter Springette has been charged with wounding and inflicting grievous bodily harm.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed the news, stating that Springette was officially charged on Thursday, June 8.

According to the police, his charge stems from Tuesday’s shooting incident in Sea Cow’s Bay that left one man suffering a gunshot injury.

“The victim reported to the hospital with a single wound to his back,” the RVIPF stated.

Springette is set to appear before the Magistrate’s Court at the next available sitting.
