Founder and Chairman of the One Virgin Islands Poker Run Dr. Michael Turnbull has cleared the air following the second annual hosting of the highly anticipated event that is set to clash with the United States Virgin Islands Stars and Stripes Poker Run which are both scheduled for July 2, 2023.
Dr. Turnbull confirmed that discussions were had with members of the USVI Stars and Stripes Poker Run but said the two entities were unable to find a suitable date that best worked for both parties to hold their respective event on separate dates.
Dr. Turnbull said he hopes that the same doesn’t occur in 2024 and that the two entities find dates that best fit to allow for the events to be held on separate dates.
