In a heartfelt act of philanthropy, a local business owner has paved the way for 80 children and teenagers from across the Territory to participate in the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports’ upcoming summer programs at no cost to their families.
Mr. Lesmore Smith, CEO of Top Priority Security Services, has been credited by the department for this generous donation, which will allow young individuals to engage in various enriching activities during the summer break.
During a recent interview with 284 Media, Shaunice Leonard, Senior Programme Manager for the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, expressed immense gratitude to Mr Smith for his invaluable investment in the youth of the community.
The donation made by Mr Lesmore Smith will specifically enable interested participants to join the Youth Summer Camp, the Multi-Sport Summer Camp, or the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) Summer Camp.
These programs offer a wide range of activities that cater to diverse interests and talents, ensuring an engaging and educational experience for all attendees.
To register for the summer programs, interested individuals can obtain registration forms from the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports directly or access them online by scanning the provided QR codes on the Department of Youth and Sports – DYAS BVI Facebook page.
