TROPICAL WAVE AFFECTING THE BVI – RAINFALL LIKELY TONIGHT

There is a 70 percent chance that the territory will experience rainfall tonight.

This is according to the latest weather update by the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) which forecast that tonight will be mostly cloudy with a 70 percent or high chance of showers.

The DDM says the expected weather is due to the passage of a tropical wave that is affecting the territory.

The wind speeds are 9 to 18 miles per hour, traveling east to south east, while the seas will vary from 4 to 6 feet.

Tomorrow’s weather forecast states that the territory will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers.
