Mr. Daniel Pruce is set to become the next Governor of the British Virgin Islands after the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) confirmed his appointment in a media release on Friday.
The release said that Pruce will take up the role in January 2024, following the departure of the present Governor His Excellency John Rankin in December 2023.
The FCDO also informed the public that Governor Rankin will be retiring from diplomatic service following the end of his tenure as Governor of the BVI.
