No foul play has been suspected at this stage following the discovery of a partially decomposed body in the heart of Road Town on Tuesday.
This was confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a recent statement to the media.
Following reports of the discovery of the body which was found in an abandoned building on Upper Main Street, police revealed that initial investigations indicate that there is no evidence to suggest any incidence of foul play at this point.
Police further said that the body is yet to be positively identified as investigations continue.
