The Church of God Prophecy Long Look and the Youth Organizations of the 7th and 8th Districts will stage the “Stop the Violence March” on Sunday 20th August 2023 at 3:30 p.m. The march is aimed at advocating against gun violence in respective communities and the territory overall.
It is expected that the main participants will be the youth of the community. The theme of the event is “Put Down the Gun. Save the Generation”.
Organizers sat the event is birth out of the growing concerns of the negative impact of gun violence especially on our children and youth population. “This impact is often initially unnoticed, but later manifests itself in the continued violence seen over the years.”
All and especially the youth are invited to participate in this important event.
