Kyron McMaster is through to the Men’s 400-Metre Hurdles semi-finals at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.
Running out of lane 4 in heat 2 of the first round on Sunday, August 20, McMaster cruised to victory with a time of 48.47 seconds.
His semi-final race will take place on Monday, August 21, at 1:35 p.m. BVI time.
Meanwhile, in the 100-Metre Men’s event, the BVI’s Rikkoi Brathwaite placed 5th in heat 6, narrowly missing the qualification requirement to reach the semi-finals.
He ran a time of 10.18 seconds, which ranks him at 24th overall.
