BVIslander D’Moi Hodge says the love shown from residents across the territory following his historic signing to the Los Angeles Lakers NBA team has aided in his realization of how big of a deal his recent achievement is and what it means to the territory.
284 Media caught up with D’Moi during his recent visit to the territory and asked the basketball rising star if the significance of his recent signing had sunk in.
D’Moi also spoke about the feedback he received from residents and how surprised he was to learn that so many people tuned in to watch his summer league games.
As it relates to his expectations following his signing to the Lakers, Hodge said the love shown from within the franchise has so far been one of the main things to exceed his expectations.
