DON’T GIVE UP, KEEP GOING – MCMASTER AFTER CLAIMING FIRST WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS MEDAL

The World Athletics Championships silver medalist Kyron McMaster said his recent track achievement in Budapest, Hungary, is one that he has been chasing for more than half a decade.

McMaster’s comments came in a subsequent interview after his impressive second-place finish on Wednesday in the final of the Men’s 400-Metre Hurdles.

McMaster said he has been using a new approach this year for all of his races, placing his concentration solely on his performance and not his competitors.

The two-time Commonwealth Games champion also spoke about the recurrence of being selected to run out of lane 8, a custom that he said he has grown to embrace.
