STUDENTS TO PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON TEACHERS IN NEW APPRAISAL SYSTEM

The Ministry of Education has introduced the VI Professional Standards for Educators, a new initiative that will be implemented in the upcoming school year that will allow for teachers and staff of the ministry to be appraised by students and peers.

Acting Chief Education Officer (CEO) Mrs. Orlandette Crabbe made the announcement during the Ministry of Education’s Professional Development Day ceremony at the Eileene Parsons Auditorium on Monday.

Crabbe also revealed some of the other new initiatives that will come into effect from this coming 2023-2024 school year.

The acting CEO further disclosed that several new positions have been added to the education fraternity this year.
