The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports is encouraging teachers across the territory to get outside of their comfort zones for the upcoming school year.
Acting Chief Education Officer (CEO) Mrs. Orlandette Crabbe called on teachers to utilise non-traditional teaching methods to enhance the engagement of students during classroom sessions.
She at the time was speaking at the Ministry of Education’s Professional Development Day ceremony at the Eileene Parsons Auditorium on Monday.
Mrs. Crabbe encouraged the educators to utilise outside resources to deliver the most effective classroom experiences.
She said by utilising outside resources it will demonstrate the commitment of the respective teachers who intend to go above and beyond to achieve the goal of providing a holistic and dynamic learning experience for students.
