LIVE CHAT OPTION COMING TO CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE CENTRE

The Customer Service Care Centre is preparing to add a new tool to its artillery, in the form of a Live Chat connecting agents to members of the public quickly and remotely.

Already, the Customer Service Care Centre uses visits to its office on the first floor of the Burhym Building, phone calls and emails to meet its mandate, allowing it to reach an estimated 8000 customers per month.

According to Deputy Governor David Archer, the incoming Live Chat is a step towards more direct and immediate feedback for the public.

Archer explained that using the platform will be as easy as sending a text, and will allow members of the public to access all the regular services of the centre.

The Live Chat will also allow public officers to chat with the Human Resources Department to get quick and accurate answers to their questions.

While the public service is certainly moving in the right direction, the Deputy Governor says that it’s clear there is still work to do, and his office is up for the challenge.
