The capital of Tortola, Road Town, was one of the areas mostly impacted from the flash floods that resulted from Tropical Storm Philippe on Wednesday.
Representative for the District, Honourable Luce Hodge Smith was on the grounds to assess the damage and said she received numerous calls from residents within the district who were significantly impacted from the floods.
The Fourth District Representative also commended those persons who sprang into action quickly to assist with the clean-up efforts where possible.
She spoke with 284 Media’s Ronn Grant in an interview.
