CARROT BAY MAN CHARGED WITH CRABBE LOT SHOOTING

34-year-old Carrot Bay resident Kyle Baronville has been slapped with several charges stemming from the October 3 shooting in the Crabbe Lot area on Tortola.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirmed the charges, stating that Baronville is charged with Carrying an Unlicensed Firearm, Possession of a Firearm with the Intent to Endanger Life, and Unlawful Possession of Explosives.

Police said preliminary investigations unveiled that on the aforementioned date, a male individual had discharged a firearm with the intent to harm another in the Crabbe Lot area after 9:00 p.m.

The law enforcers revealed that Baronville was promptly apprehended and subsequently charged with multiple offenses related to the incident.

Commissioner of Police, Mark Collins, reiterated the RVIPF’s commitment to solving similar types of offenses.

“I want to emphasize the seriousness with which we are treating this incident. The safety and security of our community are paramount, and we will not tolerate such dangerous activities within our community,” Collins stated.
