Team BVI, representing the British Virgin Islands at the First Global Challenge (FGC) robotics competition in Singapore, concluded their historic participation with a ranking of #143 out of 191 teams.
Reflecting on their journey from the opening ceremony to the final day of the event, Team BVI expressed immense satisfaction with their growth and experience. “Our experience and growth from day 1 until the end of this event is beyond what we could have ever imagined,” the team stated.
Over the course of the competition, they engaged in interviews with judges, discussed their robot’s design and programming processes, and formed alliances with teams from around the world.
Despite facing fierce competition, Team BVI remained in high spirits throughout the event. They participated in numerous ranking matches, demonstrating their determination.
