CBR PIER PARK TO HOST INAUGURAL NEW YEAR’S EVE EVENT

The Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park has announced its intention to be the choice of celebration for residents and visitors to the Virgin Islands as they ring in the new year.

On Sunday, December 31st, “Old Year’s Night”, Cyril B Romney Tortola Pier Park Ltd. will host its inaugural New Year’s Eve Celebrations under the theme “Ready for 2024!”.

The main event that evening promises a variety of entertainment and culinary experiences, including performances by local artists on the Luxury Deck.

Vibe, Xtreme Band and Ova Drive Band are some of the names already confirmed for the event. 

In addition, a number of satellite events will be held throughout Pier Park, by the various Bars, Restaurants and other establishments available there.

Organizers are also promising a “Spectacular Light Show”, using laser technology to keep attendees captivated and engaged at the stroke of midnight. A feature which organizers say will set the event apart from others using traditional fireworks. 

Cyril B Romney Tortola Pier Park Ltd recently teamed up with Sponsor Caribbean Cellars BVI Ltd to launch the event to the press.

CBRTPP Passports

An integral part of the event is the “Passport Program” which efforts establishments located within the pier park an opportunity to share exclusive specials and discounts with attendees of the event.

Tickets 

Tickets for the main event are priced at $10 for Adults, while children ages 12 and under enter free.

Interested persons are encouraged to stay tuned to Pier Park’s social media platforms for information on how to purchase tickets.

Parking

The event offers 3 levels of paid parking, promising participants convenient, reserved parking close to the venue and the peace of mind that their vehicles will be guarded throughout the night. 

VIP Parking, located near National Bank costs $20.

Ultra VIP Parking, located near Social Security, costs $35.

Presidential Parking, located inside of the venue, costs $50. 

Coney Island

While the main event will take place on December 31st, the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park hopes to keep patrons engaged and entertained throughout the Holiday Season by transforming Lot 5 into Coney Island.

The Pier Park has promised an “incredible adventure with thrilling rides and attractions for both children and families to enjoy” and added that coming to Coney Island is “the perfect way to create lasting memories and add an extra dose of excitement” to the season.
