SAFE HAVEN TRANSITIONAL CENTRE MH&SD HOLDS THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE FOR VULNERABLE COMMUNITY MEMBERS

The Safe Haven Transitional Centre MH&SD is appealing to the public for their support with their first Thanksgiving Food Drive for vulnerable members of the Virgin Islands. 

The Food Drive purpose is to assist with restocking the Family Support Network (FSN) food pantry for Thanksgiving. The Food Drive is currently ongoing and will end 17th November 2023. If any businesses or individuals wish to donate, items can be dropped off at the Safe Haven Transitional Centre MH&SD which is located Johnson’s Ghut behind Davis Funeral Home between the hours of 8:30AM to 5:00PM daily.   

Items that can be donated would include but are not limited to the following: 

 • Non perishables 

• Water 

•Canned goods 

• Dried Fruits and Nuts 

• Cereals 

• Rice 

• Juice Mixes

• Noodles 

• Pastas   

The agency said, “Your contribution to this Food Drive would make a great impact and would be an invaluable asset as we assist Family Support Network (FSN) restock their pantry.”
