RVIPF RETRIEVES POSSIBLE COCAINE PKGS; OFFICERS EXAMINING PKGS FROM RT FERRY DOCK

In a statement the Royal Virgin Islands Police force confirmed that they have retrieved possible cocaine packages from the Road Town Ferry dock today Sunday October 29th, 2023. 

The statement said, “Officers of the RVIPF responded to reports of floating packages in the water by the Road Town ferry terminal earlier today, October 29. Retrieved were seven wrapped packages suspected to be cocaine. The packages are being examined and processed by officers.”

Additionally the force has appealed to anyone with information to come forwarding stating, “Anyone with information regarding the origination of these packages or knows of anyone in possession of such packages that can assist officers with investigations are asked to contact the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. Investigations are ongoing.”
