The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) recently hosted a successful community meeting at the BVI Red Cross for the New Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre.
As part of the meeting, a presentation was delivered by the RDA’s Design Consultant, Lavina Liburd of TigerQi Architecture, who provided an in-depth look at the architectural plans for the new learning centre.
Attendees were given a comprehensive understanding of what to expect from the new state-of-the-art facility.
Minister for Communications and Works the Honourable Kye Rymer also provided brief remarks at the meeting, and actively participated in the session by asking questions.
Autland Heavy Equipment, who will be overseeing the construction phase of the project, responded to the minister’s questions and provided details on the construction process.
Safety concerns were also addressed, with the Minister inquiring about measures to ensure the safety of students attending the nearby Enid Scatliffe Primary School during construction.
