2 TEENS BEFORE MAGISTRATE ON TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS

2 incidents of driving without a driver’s license led to young men ages 17 and 19 being arrested and charged by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force in the month of October, 2023.

The first incident occurred after 6 p.m. on October 9th, involving a 17-year-old male. Following his arrest, the teenager was granted bail in the sum of $5,000.
He is scheduled to appear before a magistrate’s court in November.

In a separate incident, Ra-Shaun Penn, a 19-year-old, was arrested and charged with multiple traffic violations.

These included driving without a license, driving an unlicensed vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving without a front identification plate, driving without a rear identification plate, and driving without a crash helmet.

Penn was granted bail in the sum of $3,000 and is also scheduled to face a magistrate’s court in November.
