RDA HANDS OVER KEYS TO JVD MULTIPURPOSE EDUCATIONAL FACILITY

The Virgin Islands Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has announced the handover of keys to the new Jost Van Dyke Multipurpose Educational Facility to the school’s principal ahead of the upcoming term.

The new school provides a safe, inclusive learning environment for students on Jost Van Dyke.

Its impact as a Multipurpose facility is expected to extend beyond classrooms, bringing positive change to the entire community.

According to the RDA, excitement is high among students, teachers and parents.

The keys now in the principal’s hands usher in a new era for the island’s students.

An official ceremony marking its completion will take place in the coming weeks.

The RDA has also announced that foundation work is now underway at the site of the Eslyn Henley Richiez Learning Centre project.

According to the RDA, footings have been cast and backfill will be completed soon on the learning centre’s foundation.

Each step forward in construction brings the vision of the new learning centre closer to becoming a reality. The facility will provide critical educational resources, support and programs for Virgin Islands youth.

While still in the early stages, the ongoing foundation work is a clear sign of forward momentum.

The RDA said it will continue providing updates as tangible progress is made on the learning centre project.
