The BVI’s track and field star Adaejah Hodge kicked off the 2024 season with a record-breaking performance for her Montverde Academy school, running a U.S. No. 4 all-time performance at the 300-meter distance.
Competing at the VA Showcase on Friday, Hodge in her first-ever 300-meter race broke the 37-second barrier to win her race in a time of 36.97 seconds.
Hodge also ran a No. 2 all-time performance in the 60-meter race, clocking a blistering time of 7.31 seconds.
