The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed that the condition of the driver involved in the serious vehicle accident which occurred in the Meyers/Mayaba area on Tortola on Wednesday remains unknown.
The confirmation came in a brief statement from the RVIPF which said the accident occurred after 1:00 p.m.
In addition, the statement also revealed that the driver was a male and the lone occupant in the accident.
Police did not disclose the name of the driver but said he was transported to the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital to receive treatment.
“His condition is unknown at this time,” the RVIPF stated.
Police said investigations are ongoing into the matter.
