The Virgin Islands Alzheimer’s Association (VIAA) is collaborating with the Rotaract Club of Virgin Gorda, Valley Sound Lions Club, and Sister Islands Programme to host a special concert promoting music’s brain benefits.
The “Power of Music on the Brain” event will take place on Saturday, January 27th at Walter’s Recreational Park in Virgin Gorda from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
This family-friendly concert will showcase popular genres like fungi, gospel, and soca. Attendees can expect raffles, giveaways, activities, and refreshments catered to seniors.
Organizers promise an enjoyable evening for attendees to appreciate how music positively impacts the brain.
The public is encouraged to attend, especially seniors who stand to benefit most.
