RDA REPORTS STEADY PROGRESS ON JOINT MARINE SHORE BASE PROJECT

The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) has provided an update on construction progress at the Joint Marine Shore Base project site.

According to the RDA, concrete pouring has now been completed in the boat rack area. Additionally, exterior grounds were graded and compacted.

Great attention to detail was noted in the formwork and reinforcement mesh installation before pouring high-strength 4000psi concrete.

The RDA highlighted the continuous efforts and meticulous approach exhibited by the James Todman Construction team through each project phase.

According to the RDA’s website, the project hopes to provide an effective operations base for the marine police and customs and secure storage for up to 8 vessels.

The expected effect is to bolster border control, safety at sea and security for citizens.
