Heads of government departments across the Virgin Islands public service recently came together for the first Heads of Departments meeting of 2024.
The meeting served as an opportunity for top public sector officials to align on priorities and cast the vision for their respective ministries this year. There was also discussion around the overarching strategic focus for the Public Service in 2024.
In a statement on the sessions, Deputy Governor David Archer described the proceedings as successful.
Featured speakers at the event included Premier Dr. Natalio Wheatley, former Governor John Rankin, and Deputy Premier Lorna Smith OBE.
