Defending champions Kiss My Ace continued their winning ways in the 2024 Virgin Islands Volleyball Association (VIVA) Power League last weekend, defeating Firebirds A 3-0 to mark their second win of the new season.
Playing on Saturday in the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Road Town, the reigning champs swept the Firebirds 25-14, 25-17, 25-15 with Zoe Richards gaining the Player of the Match award for her 2 blocks, 8 kills, 9 digs, 4 aces and 12 receptions.

Saturday also featured two games in the Men’s Division with Gunz for Lyfe picking up back-to-back wins, defeating Kryptonite in a hard-fought battle that ended in a 3-2 win – 30-28, 25-23, 27-25, 18-25, 15-11.
Gunz for Lyfe’s Jose Ramirez received the Player of the Match award for his 2 blocks, 8 kills, 9 digs, 4 aces and 9 receptions.
In the other men’s game, Hawks handed One Mart their second defeat of the tournament in 3 straight sets, winning 25-18, 25-19, 27-25, with Jeron Timmons awarded Player of the Match for his 10 kills, 6 digs and 4 receptions.
Meanwhile, in Sunday’s games, Raw Power defeated Phoenix Red 3-1 in the Women’s A Division, winning 25-22, 25-15, 23-25, 25-11.
In the Women’s B Division, High Impact beat Spikers 25-10, 26-24.
