In the wake of a targeted operation executed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) on Friday, March 1, three individuals have been charged in connection with the discovery of firearms, ammunition, and drugs in Purcell Estate, Tortola.
They are Seantroy Hanley, 36, Jahkeema Charles, 32, and Quentin Noel, 19. Hanley and Charles, both residents of Fat Hog’s Bay, Tortola faced a joint array of charges, including two counts of Keeping a Firearm without a License, two counts of Unlawful Possession of Explosives, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug, and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug with intent to supply. Noel, residing in Purcell Estate, Tortola, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug.
Charles was granted bail in the sum of $40,000 and is scheduled to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on April 18, 2024. Hanley and Noel remain in custody until the next available sitting at the Magistrate’s Court.
