In a tragic event, a well-known local male has died this afternoon Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 in Paraquita Bay while operating an excavator. Sources close the situation confirmed that the man was employed with a local construction company.
In an offical statement the Royal Virgin Islands police force said, “Police can confirm a fatal incident in Paraquita Bay after 1 pm today. One male was pronounced dead at the scene. Details of the incident are unclear. Officers are currently at the scene and investigations are ongoing. More details will be provided as necessary.”
Circumstances surrounding the incident are not clear; officials are presently on the scene.
