This year’s Mrs. Globe pageant in Henan, China was a resounding success for Mrs BVI Globe , who was recognized for her poise, physicality and impactful platform on an issue plaguing societies around the world.
Representing the Territory with pride, Rhonda Victor Pinnock earned the “Difference Maker” award for her powerful speech highlighting her platform of domestic violence awareness and prevention. She also earned nominations for “Country Pride,” “Best Mama Body,” and “Motivator of the Year” among the 54 contestants.
She recently spoke with 284Media’s Jhaka Wooding about her journey.
One highlight of her trip she said was that her physicality turned heads, with fellow queens intrigued by her skin tone, hair texture, accent and unique mannerisms.
She returned empowered, and she is eager to continue her work raising awareness around domestic violence prevention locally through partnerships and initiatives.
