SAFETY CONCERNS RISE AFTER INCIDENT AT FLEMMING BUILDING

Residents are urged to exercise extreme caution when commuting near the Flemming Building, commonly referred to as the old Flow building, after a section of the building’s infrastructure collapsed near the sidewalk this evening.

The incident, which nearly resulted in a serious accident, has heightened safety concerns in the area.

According to initial reports, the falling debris narrowly missed pedestrians who were in close proximity to the building. The quick response of these individuals likely averted what could have been a severe accident.

Following the incident, concerned citizens reported the matter to the authorities. Members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) swiftly arrived at the scene and cordoned off access to the building’s sidewalk to ensure public safety.

Residents and commuters are advised to avoid walking in the vicinity of the Flemming Building until further notice.
