CIBC CARIBBEAN LAUNCHES ‘WAYS TO BANK’ DIGITAL HUB

CIBC Caribbean has introduced a new digital hub called ‘Ways to Bank,’ which consolidates all of the bank’s digital products and services into a single, convenient platform.

The bank announced the launch through a press release, highlighting the hub’s aim to provide clients with easy and flexible access to a wide range of digital banking services.

The ‘Ways to Bank’ hub is designed to centralize information on various digital banking services, making it easier for clients to manage their finances. The platform supports everyday banking transactions, including bill payments and instant payments, enhancing clients’ control over their financial activities.

Deepa Boucaud, Executive Director of Personal and Business Banking at CIBC Caribbean, emphasized the accessibility and user-friendliness of the hub, which is available on both mobile and desktop devices.

“We are excited about our new digital banking hub, which serves as a comprehensive online platform for all of our clients’ banking needs. The ‘Ways to Bank’ is another innovative solution in the bank’s digital transformation journey and reflects our commitment to providing convenient and efficient banking services to our clients in today’s digital age,” Boucaud stated.

Boucaud also highlighted the significant growth in digital banking transactions, noting a 27% increase in Personal and Business Banking online and mobile transactions, and an 11% increase in Corporate Banking online transactions over the past year. In contrast, over-the-counter or in-branch transactions have decreased by 23% year-on-year.

CIBC believes that the ‘Ways to Bank’ digital hub will streamline online banking activities for clients, thereby enhancing their overall banking experience. The bank sees this new platform as a key step in its ongoing digital transformation, aiming to meet the evolving needs of its clients in a rapidly changing digital landscape.
