Elmore Stoutt High School held its graduation ceremony today, celebrating the achievements of 165 outstanding students.
This year’s valedictorian, J’quela Callwood, delivered a poignant and inspiring speech, reflecting on the journey of the Class of 2024 and encouraging her peers to pursue their dreams with determination.
The graduating class included 75 males and 90 females.
Notably, eight students graduated with high honors, achieving grades of 91% or above, while 94 students graduated with honors, earning grades of 76% or above, showcasing the academic excellence prevalent at Elmore Stoutt High School.
Special recognition was given to J’quela Callwood and Kayla Brathwaite, who both received the Exemplary Performance Awards. These prestigious awards were bestowed upon them for maintaining an A average or higher every term and every year from grades 7 to 12.
The ceremony was a testament to the hard work, resilience, and commitment of the graduates, as well as the unwavering support from their families, teachers, and the community. As these young individuals embark on the next chapter of their lives, they carry with them the values and education instilled by Elmore Stoutt High School.
