Early Friday morning, a male was found with a gunshot wound in the Sea Cows Bay area, as confirmed by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
In a statement released to the media, the RVIPF reported receiving calls about loud bangs just after midnight on Friday, July 5. Responding officers discovered a male victim at the scene who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound.
The injured man was promptly transported to the Dr. D Orlando Smith Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. Medical staff have reported that he is in stable condition.
The police have not released further details regarding the incident, but investigations are ongoing.
