Legendary reggae artist Buju Banton’s “Long Walk To Freedom” will make a historic stop in St. Thomas and St. Croix. The two-day lovers’ experience, scheduled for February 14th and 15th, 2025, respectively, will be the most exquisite Valentine’s Day weekend event in the USVI.
The collaborative initiative by Westline Productions, Top Tier Management Group (TTMG) and Ciga Promotions will ensure the best patron experience, event management and execution. The “Long Walk To Freedom” tour marks Buju Banton’s triumphant return to the stage, promising an unforgettable experience for fans across the USVI. Patrons can expect a robust and electrifying performance that celebrates freedom and resilience while encouraging unity.
The previous executions of Buju Banton’s “Long Walk To Freedom” tour in Jamaica and New York City received tremendous support, and organizers of this USVI leg anticipate the same. Omar Stephenson of Top Tier Management Group is confident about his teams’ plans and shares that his “entire event team features exemplary talent with years of experience in various aspects of the entertainment industry. We are excited to be part of Buju Banton’s evolution and to support this celebration of love through music on Valentine’s Day Weekend.” Echoing similar sentiments is Tony Rosario of Westline Productions, who is thrilled to welcome Buju Banton back to the US Virgin Islands.
“This concert will be more than just a performance; it will be an unforgettable experience that will resonate with everyone in attendance. Buju Banton’s return is a monumental event for our community, and we are dedicated to making it a night to remember. The energy, the music, and the spirit he brings are unmatched,” said Rosario. Ciga Promotions’ Shawn Baptiste shares his excitement “To reignite the Agriculture Fest weekend with this special production and look forward to visitors travelling to the Virgin Islands to enjoy these evenings of entertainment and working with local authorities to make it a safe and exceptional experience for attendees.”
