FORMER BVI PREMIER ANDREW FAHIE SENTENCED TO 11 YYRS

Former Premier of the Virgin Islands Andrew A Fahie, today Monday August 5th, 2024 received a sentence of eleven (11) years. 

Recently Fahie’s attorney, Richard Della Fera, submitted a series of character references from

various persons throughout the BVI Community and its diaspora in support of Fahie. 

Fahie was convicted in Miami earlier this year on conspiracy to import a controlled substance and money laundering after allegedly agreeing to facilitate the safe passage of cocaine through the BVI in exchange for large sums of money. 

He faced a possible life sentence.
